The SCCA Majors is a great way to mix it up with the best racers on the West Coast. Racers qualifying for the SCCA Runoffs compete including people from out of region. This gives a great opportunity to race with different competitors and also learn from the best.
The first race weekend for the 2017 season and I was excited for races 1 & 2. The car has a new livery for this year and some great partners to help us on and off the track.
The first weekend in December, NASA hold a grueling endurance challenge the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. We competed as part of team CSR Performance in a modified Spec Racer Ford Gen3.
The season finale at Thunderhill was a short but great racing weekend. A few small issues with the car but ended up having two fun races dicing with the front runners in Spec Racer Ford.
A terrible practice day with car issues. But a fantastic weekend with late rain for Race 1 and a very close Race 2. After a solid start to the season I am now 3rd in the championship.
